Biography

I see myself as a simple guy who enjoys helping others learn. While working on my thesis work at Cornell, I became interested in education research and the idea that faculty can employ modern pedagogical methods to enhance student learning and improve outcomes. I’ve been involved in various types of educational outreach and after 10+ years I realized that I enjoyed it enough to try make a living out of it. When the time to start my career, I found myself looking for opportunities in education research and modern pedagogy training and that led me to the Harker ISE Lab and the ISLL where I currently reside as a preceptor. Working with students and helping them learn and chart their paths forward is extremely rewarding to me and I hope to contribute a lot to the development of our integrated STEM programs here at UD.
